Yes, we recommend you to register, and creating a customer account is fast and free.  Once you have registered, you will be able to start shopping on our online shop, earn and access your MG points, redeem shopping cash, check your current order and order history, and manage your email preference.

Can I place an order by email or telephone?

We are unable to accept orders through email or phone due to security reasons.  Contact us and we will be happy to assist you in placing an order.

Why my order has no movement, what is the hold up?

We do our best to ship your order in 1 business day of receiving it.  However, there are situations when unexpected problems occur, such as bad weather or unforeseen stock issues, and delay is inevitable.  In case if that happens, please be patient and we will keep you posted on order status, and notify you the shipment information once it becomes available.

How can I check the status of my order?

There are multiple ways to check the status of your order.  You can visit the order status page, check your mailbox for shipping confirmation email, or contact us for assistance.

Can I amend or cancel my order once it’s been placed?

We work hard to proceed your order quickly so that you will receive your purchase as soon as possible.  We suggest not to interrupt the order once it’s been placed.  If you would like to add something or make change to your order, please contact us first and we will do our best to accommodate.  However, no amendment or cancellation will be accepted once your order is shipped.


How do I know if I am purchasing an authentic item?

You can be assured that we only sell genuine items.  All of our products are 100% authentic and come directly from the brands or military suppliers.  We are also participating and becoming a member of “No Fakes Pledge” program launched by Hong Kong government, committing not to deal with counterfeit or pirated products, and to sell only genuine items.

How can I locate a product not on your online shop?

Most of our products are available on our online shop.  However due to freight restrictions, certain products such as knife, blade, spray can, liquid, or other restricted items cannot be shipped internationally.  Given for such situation, they can be purchased at our stores located in Hong Kong.

How do I know the right size for me?

The size chart with measurements are available on every product page, it is the responsibility of customer to check the sizing chart and ensure correct size is selected.

The item I wanted has a tag “pre-order”, what does it mean?

From time to time we will re-stock sold out items or take pre-order for new releases, if you see a tag “pre-order” that means either we are replenishing the stocks or taking pre-order for upcoming items.  You can always refer to product page for details on estimated in-stock schedule or simply contact us for details.

Is the product photo displayed on your online shop look exactly the same as item that I will receive?

We make every effort to deliver the products that look exactly the same as the images shown on our online shop.  However digital image has its limitation showing exact colors, therefore please keep in mind that the colors and textures of the item displayed on your screen may slightly differ from those of the product you will receive.

What condition should I expect about the military surplus products you are selling?

We sell both brand new and used genuine military surplus products.  The word 'condition' on product page indicates the appearance and quality of a military product you should expect:

100% new condition: item never been used, but may show signs of storage or other age related signs.

80%-90% new condition: pre-owned army surplus by members of military, around 80%-90% new and item may have light marks, blemishes, or other signs of wear and storage.

60-70% new condition: pre-owned army surplus by members of military, around 60-70% new and item may have possible damage, missing parts, scratches, marks, stains, color fading, or other signs of wear, but will still be perfectly good to use.


What is your refund policy?

All sales are final.  We do not offer refunds unless the product is out of stock, and there is no substitution or we are unable to pre-order it to fulfill your order.

I do not like the item, can I exchange it?

Exchange service will only be eligible for incorrect or faulty item, and item purchased in wrong size.  No exchange will be entertained other than reasons above.

I have brought the wrong size, can I exchange it?

Yes, depends.  In case if you have purchased the wrong size and will need to return for exchange, we may accommodate your request depending on size availability.  Please report your request within 3 days of purchase, and you will need to be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item, including any taxes or duties.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal and all major credit cards including Visa and MasterCard.  Our credit card transactions are processed by Stripe - an international payment gateway guaranteeing secure online payments.  MG Military and Outdoor will neither store nor access your credit card details.

What is the currency setting on your online shop?

To provide better shopping experience, the following currencies are preset on our online shop for customers from different regions:

Hong Kong -> Hong Kong Dollar (HKD)

Mainland China -> Chinese Yuan (CNY)

Rest of the world -> US Dollar (USD)

Will I be charged for additional fee when ordering?

We will only charge the total amount shown in order.  However, there may be foreign transaction fees applied depending on the policy of your bank or credit card company, and customer will need to be responsible for these fees.

I have paid my purchase, why I have been asked for identification and credit card details?

In order to ensure the validity of our transactions, we will conduct verification of orders with customers.  This checking may have caused you the inconvenience, but please note this verification is just a normal security measure, aiming to protect our customers as well as our company against fraudulent credit card activities on the internet.

Can I use MG points to make the purchase?

Yes, to use or view your MG points, you must be signed into your account.  The MG points can be freely redeemed for shopping cash and fund your purchase.

Can I combine shopping cash and other payment methods for an order?

Yes, you can use shopping cash together with PayPal or credit card to complete your purchase.


How do I become a MG Military & Outdoor member?

The easiest way to become a member is to register and purchase on our online shop or at our stores.

What are the benefits of becoming a MG Military & Outdoor member?

The membership is free and lifetime.  Once you have become our member, you can start earning and accumulating MG Points with every purchase, and redeeming shopping cash to pay your order.  Member can also receive news, promotions, and exclusive offers from us.

What is MG Points program and how it works?

MG Points program is one of the exclusive privileges rewarding our members.  You earn and accumulate MG Points every time you buy from our online shop or at our stores, and accumulated points can be used to redeem shopping cash for your next purchase.  For more details please read our membership scheme here.

Can I transfer my MG points to other members?

No.  Membership in MG Military and Outdoor is for individual customer only, and points are non-transferable.

What is the validity period of my MG points?

This validity period of MG points will extend a year each time a purchase is recorded in your account, this includes purchasing online or buying directly at our stores.


When will I receive my order? How much is the shipping charge?

For local delivery, we use courier SF Express to handle your package and normally it takes around 2 to 3 working days for transit.

For international delivery, we use international courier for shipment, depending on your location.  We charge actual shipping fee and orders are expected to arrive most of the destinations in 7 to 14 working days.

Will you offer free shipping?

Yes, but for local only.  For Platinum and Black Diamond Members, we will offer free shipping (order amount over HK$600 / HK$400) covering commercial or residential address within Hong Kong or package sending to SF Express Service Centers/Stations.

How can I check the shipping rate before ordering?

You can always check the corresponding shipping rate for your purchase, simply add the item to the shopping cart, and then select destination, and corresponding shipping cost will be shown.

Will my package be charged for import tax or Customs duty?

Unfortunately we cannot speak for Customs.  International order may incur import tax or Customs duty, as long as your country/Customs office elects to charge a tax on your item, you are responsible to pay to receive it.  MG Military and Outdoor has no control over Customs’ decision or tell the cost of the charge.  Please contact your local authority for details before placing your order.

Can I pick up my purchase at your stores?

Yes.  Our “Click and Collect” service will allow you to order online and pick up your purchase free from our stores.  When you check out your shopping cart, simply select the pick up location below:

I am interested in the Denix, can you ship?

Although the firearm replica has no mechanical parts sharing with the real, and the function to fire any bullets or BBs, the appearance is still close to the real, and it is the customer's responsibility to research any restrictions concerning the products being purchased.  We recommend customer to check your local authorities before placing your order as import laws may subject to change.
